Now, the means Search Engine Optimization is the process of improving the volume or quality of traffic to a web site from search engines via “natural” or un-paid (“organic” or “algorithmic”) search results as opposed to search engine marketing (SEM) which deals with paid inclusion. Typically, the earlier (or higher) a site appears in the search results list, the more visitors it will receive from the search engine. My target different kinds of search, including image search, local search, video search and industry-specific vertical search engines. This gives a web site web presence.  As an Internet marketing strategy,  considers how search engines work and what people search for. Optimizing a website primarily involves editing its content and HTML and associated coding to both increase its relevance to specific keywords and to remove barriers to the indexing activities of search engines.

This classification aside, in its broadest sense no other limitations exist and the final product can be anything from clothing to graphical user interfaces to skyscrapers. Even virtual concepts such as corporate identity and cultural traditions such as celebration of certain holidays are sometimes designed. More recently, processes (in general) have also been treated as products of design, giving new meaning to the term process design.

Why am I decided to join in this contest?

It is a nice question and I’m welling to share this to all of the viewers of this contest.

I first encourage in a search engine optimization when we have our finals in one of our major subjects, it is creating a Website for only free website creating and hosting. Well I started to search for some sites that can fulfill in our thesis, and that site is the Weebly.Com.

Weebly.com is a free web page creation site. To design your site you drap and drop different elements onto a page and add content. But one problem that I’ve encountered in this matter was, it is not enough to just creating and editing it, but also you need to optimized it. So that was the beginning and I started to learn about the search engine optimization. And by this contest I can try what I’ve learn from last month until then, so on and so it.

So for all of the IT students, you are invited to join in the contest. And also by this contest it will give us an additional knowledge in the Internet and Internet marketing. Specially for us IT’s because we are studying about computer.
